COVID-19 Response

Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis we have decided to stop taking holiday bookings for at least the remainder of this year. If you are looking for 2021 we will be considering this about this sometime before Christmas. Do contact us with any queries, as this may influence our decisions about the future.

All those with bookings for 2020 should have heard from me already regrading refunds etc. If you are reading this and have not had an email, please get in touch.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read through the terms and conditions carefully -- we want to be sure that people know exactly where they stand, and the bits about cancellation are particularly important if things should change for you.

Arrival and Departure
Unless otherwise agreed, the period of occupancy is from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.

A deposit of 50% is payable to confirm the booking. The balance is due a month before your arrival date.

You should notify us of cancellation by telephone, and follow this with an email or a letter by first class mail. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the start of the booking and we are able to re-let, your deposit will be returned. If this is not the case your payments may be forfeit, although we will always try to re-let and refund when possible. Persons failing to notify us of cancellation, or having to leave early for any reason, will be liable to pay the whole cost of the booking. Credit or debit card charges will be deducted from any refunds.(Many reasons for cancellation are covered by travel insurance - we strongly recommend this inexpensive safeguard.)

Bed Linen
Provided free of charge (duvets), but not towels, except by arrangement.

Dogs are welcome in the Log Cabins and the Byre, but limited to 2 in the Cabins and 1 in the Byre. Dogs are allowed on the understanding that they will not be left unattended, nor allowed to lie on the furntiture. Outside they must be under close control, and the owners are expected to clear up after them.

Admissions and Evictions
Persons causing unreasonable damage or annoyance may be asked to leave. The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission or evict for any just reason, and refund of monies will depend on the cost of any damage done and of any other loss to the proprietors.

Vehicles and their accessories and contents are parked at their owners risk.

Bookings from those under 18 cannot normally be accepted.

If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Cabin you have booked is not available (e.g. due to flood or fire damage), a full refund will be due and every effort will be made to suggest alternative accommodation.
